On 18-20 November 2024, the first in a series of thematic schools for PhD students of the School of Molecular Medicine took place at BRaIn Laboratories in Lodz, Poland.
The event provided a unique opportunity to expand knowledge, exchange experiences and establish scientific collaborations among young researchers and recognised experts in molecular medicine.
The carefully planned programme of the school included lectures, practical workshops and panel discussions led by eminent specialists. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in cell biology, structural biology and modern research methods. Special attention was given to targeted therapies, gene therapies and the prospects of personalised medicine.
The event was not only an opportunity for scientific development, but also a platform for integrating the community of PhD students and mentors.
Event allowed participants to make valuable contacts and be inspired to carry out research projects. The thematic school, organised by the Medical University of Lodz and its training partners, confirmed the University’s role as a leading centre supporting the development of young scientists and promoting an interdisciplinary approach to biomedical research.
