Dear PhD students!
We invite you to a meeting promoting the Fulbright Commission’s BioLAB internship program.
As part of the information day, a meeting was planned with the American coordinators of the program – prof. Agnieszka Świątecka-Urban from the University of Virginia and prof. Łukasz Joachimiak from UT Southwestern Medical Center.
The BioLAB program is a one-year research internship for students* and PhD students* of biological, chemical, biophysical, medical and related sciences.
* “At the time of the interview (March 2026), the applicant must be enrolled in master’s studies (in the case of long-cycle studies – from the 4th year upwards) or doctoral studies at a Polish university or research unit and will maintain an active student status during the internship.”
The BioLAB program takes place in four American scientific institutions:
Participants are accepted for an internship as a visiting graduate student, research trainee or non-degree graduate student and are paid a salary ranging from $28,000 – $35,000 per year.
