The Doctoral School of Molecular Medicine is an initiative of several leading scientific institutions in Poland – universities, institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and research institutes, focused on the theme of molecular research in medicine.
The SMM at UMED continues the over 25-year tradition of the Molecular Medicine Program by educating the best doctoral students within thematic schools dedicated to the latest scientific discoveries and the most advanced research techniques. The opportunities for meetings and collaboration with outstanding scientists from the best research centers in Poland and worldwide aim to support the implementation of ambitious, innovative, and interdisciplinary doctoral projects and prepare graduates for scientific and research and development work at a global level within the University, industry, or at the patient’s bedside.
